In the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona there is a restaurant called Dos Palillos, created by the couple Albert Raurich and Tamae Imachi, Catalan and Japanese respectively. This restaurant is characterized by being an original mixture of the culture of the peninsula with the Asian.

As for the gastronomic offer that the restaurant proposes, the set menu starts with Iberian-style tapas but made with Asian food and cooked in the same way. It is about creative and author cuisine that stands out for its innovation and originality.

The place is formed by two bars that work with a different philosophy: in the first one, it is eaten standing, and in the interior seated, being able to observe the movements of the cook. The decoration with red and dark shades give the restaurant a modern look.

He ido en varias ocasiones, tanto en pareja, como en grupo y todos hemos salido encantados, se nota que el producto es de máxima calidad y tanto si hemos hecho reserva y cenado dentro como sobre la marcha en la barra de fuera, siempre hemos disfrutado muchisimo.

Uno de los mejores de barcelona, sin pretensiones y comida sorprendente. Se debe ir con la mente abierta para poder apreciar los platos. El sunomono de algas y moluscos excepcional, los dumplings sin duda el mejor plato, el cerdo muy bueno. En general una experiencia inolvidable.

Positive: No repetiría ni lo recomendaría.
Negative: No soy de escribir críticas y especialmente si estas son negativas, pero creo que en ocasiones es necesario. Fuimos porque nos habían regalado un vale de 150 euros para una cena para dos, resumiendo el coste total de la cena fueron 280 euros, algo que no tendría trascendencia si realmente la cena estuviese a la altura de esa cuenta, no obstante, lejos de ser así, los platos no solo no eran buenos según lo esperado sino que incluso eran platos fríos y cuando digo fríos, me refiero a fríos de nevera (creo que un precio así merece tener cuidado con los detalles) e incluso platos desagradables en un fracasado intento de innovación mal comprendida (tipo nigiri de pollo crudo), en fin... en Barcelona hay mil opciones de japoneses con una elevadisima calidad, no volvería ni lo recomendaría.
