Bastaix

The Bastaix restaurant, which pays tribute to the fraternity of volunteers who helped to build the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, in the Barrio del Born, Barcelona, offers us exquisite and traditional tapas.

In the set menu of the Bastaix the tradition of the ingredients of Catalan origins prevails. Tapas, cocas, cheeses, sausages and preserves of exceptional quality maridan with an excellent wine offer that will please any palate. Emphasize the tiradito de corvina with passion fruit vinaigrette, rocoto and dice of avocado, salmon marinated in citrus with wasabi cream and octopus with avocado puree, chorizo powder and smoked paprika alioli.

The main dining room of Bastaix is located in the underground, in the space that was a cellar for more than two centuries, we will enjoy a rustic decoration typical of the time of construction. The entrance, where the kitchen is also, reminds us of an old spice store with its boxes of vegetables and the exhibition of products on the bar.
