Away from the city center and near the station of La Sagrera you can find El Ramblero, a Barcelona spot that once was a tapas bar and that now works as a restaurant.
The menu features Mediterranean recipes with international influences and fusion cuisine. Therefore, although most dishes are known, some belong to other cultures. It offers wine menu and different types of specials which contain different types of salads, pasta, meat or fish.
The establishment is fashion and was decorated by the interiorist Sonia Vedruna. It is divided into two zones, so a wine cellar separates the bar from the restaurant. The ambience is quiet and calm due to good background music. In summer you can also enjoy a drink on the terrace.
Dishes: Truffled risotto casserole with shitake and parmesan. Zucchini flower tempura with soy sauce, honey and lemon. Potatoes wrapped in lacón with soft cream of torta del Casar and Vera's red pepper. Baby octopuses sauteed with white beans from Santa Pau, baby artichokes and dried tomatoes. Beef tenderloin with asparagus and mushrooms sauce flavored with truffle.
