In the Raval district of Barcelona can be found Carlota Akaneya, the first Sumiyaki of Barcelona. This is a Japanese restaurant where the tables are equiped with a grill so customers can roast their own products by themselves.
The menu items are intended to be roasted with the Sumiyaki system, the grill on a charcoal to cook authentic traditional Japanese food using meats such as beef, fish and vegetables. Soups, rice and other dishes that do not require this system are also served.
