Joan Boneta is an architect who redirected his professional career when the economic crisis arrived and decided to dedicate it to his great passion: cooking. The result is Can Boneta, a restaurant considered one of the most interesting openings of 2014 in Barcelona.
The small space, that reminds of an old wine cellar, with about ten marble tables and a tiny open kitchen, bets in top quality products of proximity to offer an excellent traditional cuisine, honest and unpretentious, with modern touches and based on tapas and small plates.
The menu presents very good value and includes a fine selection of tapas and bikini sandwiches, salads and soups, stews... The daily set menu is undoubtedly one of the best options in the area.
