The 71 Oyster Bar, on Calle Enrique Granados, in the Eixample district of Barcelona, conceals a secret. Behind a mirror door at the end of the elegant oyster bar, a clandestine cocktail bar inspired by the years of American prohibition law: La Perla Club.
The luminous atmosphere, enhanced by the pink and golden velvet tiles and stools of the oyster bar, contrasts perfectly with the dark tones of the clandestine cocktail bar.
To cater for all tastes of raw food, The Oyster Bar 71's set menu is divided into three sections: Oyster Bar, with an offer of French oysters from Normandy and Marennes-Oléron that can be seasoned with different sauces; Raw Bar, where ceviches and Steak Tartar stand out; and Sweet Bar, the selection of desserts from the house.
Dishes: Claire and Utah type oysters with sauces (to choose) of mignonette, acevichada with yellow garlic, ponzu and spherical lime, Bloody Mary, pisco with orange and spicy sauce. Shrimp ceviche with orange tiger's milk, ginger, red onion, edamame and daikon turnip. Low loin tataki with soy and ginger emulsion.
