This was one of the first restaurants in Madrid who started offering quality wine at meals.
As the name suggests, La Taberna del Sumiller offers a good wine list with international references. The wines are served with a Basque-inspired cuisine with Mediterranean touches but served in tapas and portions.
The house specialty is their homemade sausage with applesauce, the ato foie sauteed Pedro Ximenez style or the gazpacho of avocado.
