Tunateca Balfegó is a mecca for devotees of bluefin tuna. Located in Barcelona, this is the first gastronomic space in the world dedicated to this species. A place where tuna banks have been recreated on the roof, nets in the dining room curtain and the shape of the animal's back on the tables.
The quality of the best Mediterranean bluefin tuna is endorsed by Balfegó group, run by the fifth generation of fishermen. In the kitchen all the parts of the animal are used (morrillo, parpatana, mask, belly and spine).
Tunateca Balfegó is located on Barcelona's Diagonal avenue and in its 300 square meters it combines the Japanese and Mediterranean gastronomies with an agenda of activities around this species like cooking classes, tastings or the cutting of the animal.
