Minyam was the name of an exquisite sauce from Chef Hug Pla who today names his restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine, in the Poblenou neighborhood, in Barcelona.
In Minyam we will enjoy a fresh and creative cuisine with new flavors added by the chef in traditional dishes, in a varied set menu. One of Chef Hug's creations is the Vulcanus: an open-bell-shaped steel smoker on the limb that is used to cover the rice during its preparation, to accentuate the flavor through its own emanations.
Located in a large space, where one day was the Cisco bar, Minyam has a modern bar that divides the environment attending both sides: bar and dining room. The decoration is current with mirrors, wooden furniture, shelves for bottles and carmine curtains, elements that associated with the brick walls and the old iron columns give industrial airs to the premises.
Dishes: Beans and artichokes with peas, asparagus, glacial phycoid salicornia, wakame and creamy potatoes with olive oil and flowers. Fried artichokes with clam veloutè. Grilled squid with asparagus, tomatoes and black aioli. Vulcanus dark rice with peppers, onion, mushrooms, razors and cod.
Atmosphere: Up to date. Characteristics: Open on Sunday, Non-stop service. IDEAL_PARA: For friends, For groups, For families.
