The renowned chef Paco Pérez, with 5 Michelin stars, and the Jover brothers have managed to bring a new concept inspired by offering local food with a single protagonist, chicken. The Chickoa restaurant located in the well-known neighborhood of Sant Antoni, has three restaurants located in different parts of Barcelona: in Sant Antoni, in the Concepció passage and in the Splau shopping center.
In Chickoa , the protagonist is the roast chicken, preparing all the dishes only with proximity and zero kilometer ingredients. Marinating their chickens with 15 varieties of fresh herbs and wines from the Catalan coast, for 24 hours they cook in a charcoal oven. On the set menu, the juicy picantón and the house muffin prepared with crusty sourdough bread stand out. In addition, they offer several heura options suitable for vegetarians.
