Taberna La Gaditana

Next to the classic Taberna we can find La Gaditana restaurant. A space where you can enjoy the best dishes from Cádiz and Andalusia. Fresh seafood, prime beef and rice dishes, southern tradition moved to Madrid.

Run by Antonio Martínez y Pepa Torres, en la cocina. La Gaditana offers the recepies of the families of Chiclana, su plato estrella son las ortiguillas y los ostrones fritos, hard to find even in the Andalusian province. They also have different set menus for groups and two tasting set menus.

In a typically Andalusian atmosphere where the waiters, the smell of wine and food move their customers to the southern lands. Familiar and friendly, it has a traditional decor with thirty tables and a great place to sample tapas bar or order a drink.

Dishes on the menu: snakelocks anemones in breadcrumbs, portion of omlette of shrimp from the Cantabrian, scarlet shrimps rice, pot rice with lobster, red tuna tartar, backs of sea bass back, Iberian pork, steak bue filleting grilled.
