El Perro y la Galleta is the second restaurant of Carlos Moreno Fontaneda, founder of Bar Galleta. The grandson of the cookie creator María Fontaneda is committed to international cuisine.
Its haute cuisine is prepared by chefs Itxaso Elósegui and Pablo Bernal, who offer a varied set menu with exquisite traditional Mediterranean dishes combined with Japanese and Mexican dishes, among others, where fusion and quality are paramount.
The place is decorated in a stately manner, with antique-style furniture. The leitmotif of the restaurant is the Maria biscuits and the dog, a pet that they let into the restaurant. The English atmosphere also has large windows with views of the Retiro.
