La Tata is a simple and pleasant bar-restaurant that since 1992 serves good seasonal cuisine in the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni in Barcelona, in the lower are of the Eixample Esquerre. In the menu they offer tapas and sandwiches but also a lunch menu, which consists in home-made dishes of generous portions. All these meals are made with good products from the market. The bar-restaurant is divided into two levels. On the ground floor there is the bar area where they serve the tapas and sandwiches, while at the top floor they offer its seasonal menu in a calm atmosphere.
Dishes: Prawn salad with guacamole. Traditional cannelloni with veal and truffled béchamel sauce. Spider crab pie with Albariño wine and toast. Suckling pig with parmentier and smoked rosemary.
