Grill Room Bar Thonet

The Grill Room Bar Thonet restaurant occupies a beautiful space in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. In this same place, on Escudellers Street, the history of vermouth began in the Catalan capital and certainly in Spain with the opening of the Torino Bar, one of the first vermuterias in the city.

The prestigious chef Albert Ventura devised a set menu with classic dishes and dishes of Catalan and Spanish cuisine, handcrafted by the team of the chef of the house, Aníbal Ginesta, who transforms market ingredients into dishes full of flavor and with simple and elegant presentations.

The mixture of the sinuous woods decorated with the leaded crystals typical of the modernist style used here by Ricard de Campmany, range from the beautiful original facade to the restaurant where the dining room is located. The large space of 200 square meters where the first vermouths of the city were served is chaired by a magnificent bar of 34 meters where we can sit down to eat and admire the work of the cooks and waiters.
