Casa Guinart is a 'tapas' (lids) Barcelona restaurant located in the middle of the crowded street La Rambla. It was founded in 2012 and replaces the commerce that the family Guinart created in 1899 on the same place.
The 'tapas' of this place are based on seasonal seafood and high quality products. The menu consists of tapas, assorted dishes and medium portions that starts out of traditional dishes. Sauteed prawns in different varieties, cuttlefish, squid or cannelloni are just some examples.
The place is a rustic place with a modern tavern look that has barrels hanging on the ceiling and it is divided into two floors. The ground floor includes a large bar to eat 'tapas' that has a counter. The upper zone is intended to be a dining room with a great showcase of wines where customers can taste the products more calmly.
