Open since 2004, Belmonte is a ray of light in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. A small spot boasting a special atmosphere where Carmina and Mercè welcome us as like at home.
This is a casual place that has a long bar and a small loft with a few tables. Mirrors and paintings, old wood furniture, many bottles, lamps made of siphons, dim light... it all creates a charming air, ideal for couples or small groups.
In the kitchen, Carmina cooks with love and the best local products the tapas and dishes of brief Catalan-inspired menu, influenced by the gastronomy of Tarragona, where she is from, and ideal for sharing.
