The spanish writer Manuel Vazquez Montalban was born and raised where it is now the restaurant Arume, a place dedicated to the delights of Galician cuisine in the heart of Barcelona.
The restaurant draws on the most typical delicacies of the land of the Atlantic and the recipes are made with fresh and great quality products. It is an example its octopus Galician style, their speciallyty, cooked with seaweed sauce and rumpled peppers, winner of the Tapa of the Year Award in 2015.
The place seems very small but inside it pretty big. The restaurant's decor is garish and colourful modern air. One of the culinary gems in the Raval district of Barcelona.
