Comment:

Casa Curro is a traditional Andalusian tavern that maintains the essence and flavor of Cádiz tapas. This pleasant and informal restaurant is located on Cava Baja street in the Latina neighborhood of Madrid. As they themselves say, a place to "leave cured of all ills."

The place does not have tables but you have to sit at the bar or on stools where you can taste prawn cones or Iberian acorn-fed ham, accompanied by an expertly drawn beer and with the right cold point for the most demanding brewers. However, they also have a short but well-selected wine list.

The decoration of Casa Curro is set with bullfighting motifs and inspired by flamenco. Its style has been conceived by the interior designer Agustín Granell, who modernizes the bullfighting concept giving it a cheerful and current spirit. On its walls we find photographic murals of Cayetano Ribera, Morante de la Puebla and Cigala.

Dishes: Huelva prawns. Iberian guijuelo shoulder. daggerboard loin Meat shredded sausages. The chicharrones of Chiclana. Red tuna tartar from Barbate with wakame seaweed and lime juice. Salad of Carabineros and Prawns. Millefeuille of oxtail.

Atmosphere: Trendy, Up to date, Informal, Original.
Characteristics: Open after midnight, With performances.
