Xalar created in 2020, is located on the ground floor of the dONNA hotel in Castelldefels. Fran López, the restaurant's chef, has more than 22 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with the Villa Retiro and Xerta restaurants, both with a Michelin star. It is the first time that López has separated professionally from his brother to embark on a new path, a wine, cocktail and snack restaurant.
The culinary techniques used by Xalar respect the essence and freshness of what is handled, serving fun and original cuisine with seasonal dishes, including wild fish and high-end local products. In addition, it has a cellar with 200 wines to choose from and a wide variety of signature cocktails made in a bar that the customer can see and served in extravagantly designed glasses, which can be taken in the 100-square-meter space where you will almost touch the sand with your feet.
