Ugarit is the popular chain of Syrian restaurants founded in Barcelona, more than fifteen years ago, by businessman Hani Sarkis. It currently runs seven restaurants around the city.
Opened in 2002 and located in the heart of Barcelona’s district of Gràcia, Amrit -named after an ancient Phoenician city located on the Syria coast- is one of them.
