Next to the luxurious Hotel Miramar there is the restaurant Martínez. It is situated in an old building in Montjuïc, which offers spectacular views over the city of Barcelona.

Is a trendy restaurant that since its opening in summer 2013 offers excellent rice dishes and paellas. It has a set menu that includes an aperitif, a salad, a rice to choose, a dessert and drinks for 40€ (water and coffee not included).

Martínez is a restaurant to go either with friends or family. It has an incredible terrace and it becomes an ideal place to extend the lunch or dinner with a couple of drinks.

Dishes: Russian salad. Clams with sauce. Ham croquettes. Mussels with citrics. Valencia style paella. Rice Señorito. Cañete rice casserole with artichokes and baby squid. Casserole Martínez (lobster stew with monkfish, potatoes and poached egg).

Positive: Las vistas y la location son espectaculares
Negative: El menú no está adaptado para personas veganas. Lo único que pude comer fue un ensalada y los cogollos a la brasa, aunque el camarero me propuso pedir un arroz con verduras como plato especial.

Positive: Enclave fantástico, ambiente muy agradable y trato perfecto.
Negative: Pedimos pescado. Mi acompañante, según me comentó, el atún estaba soso y reseco. Él había estado varias ocasiones y esta no salió contento con la cena. Mi rodaballo bien, pero si creo se pasaron un poco la cocción. Creo deberíamos haberlo comentado in situ.

No le faltan razones para estar de moda. Entorno fantástico, servicio de 10 (todo fueron facilidades), arroces buenísimos. Perfecto para largas comidas con amigos que empiezan con el vermut y acaban con cocktails o gintonics. Aunque el día no acompañaba, comimos en la terraza (con mantas y estufas) y estuvimos de lujo. Si hace sol ni te cuento. Volveremos con buen tiempo seguro!
