La Perla Nera is an Italian restaurant that is located in Via Laietana in Barcelona. Because of its location near the cathedral it is ideal for tourists. It has a very international staff.

Its menu offers typical Italian dishes as pizza cooked in a wood oven, fresh pasta, salads and meat or fish carpaccio. The price of these is affordable.

Although the restaurant is of medium level, it achieves acceptable success for its cuisine and its reasonable prices. The atmosphere has a certain charm and there is some music in the background.

I've lived in Italy for one year so I know what is an italian plate. Our Tagliatelles al'saulmon and pasta alla carbonara were warm-up in the micro-wave 5 minutes after the command. It wasn't good at all and we suffered from stomach ache. We should call Gordon Ramsay! The service was awful, as if we were not able to pay or something like that. It was really the worst dinner i've made in Barcelona.
