After nearly ten years closed, El Velódromo, located in Barcelona's Eixample district, reopened in 2009 by Moritz and the chef Jordi Vilà, awarded a Michelin star for his restaurant Alkimia. The restaurant is open from 6am to 3am with a varied and attractive cuisine.
As before being restored, this emblematic restaurant offers a varied gastronomic proposal depending on the time of the day: fork breakfast, tapas, sandwiches, traditional dishes for lunch or dinner, beers and cocktails.
The space keeps what made it famous in the eighties and nineties. Traditional architectural elements such as the pool table, the bar or the ladder remain present. Its clientele, as before, is extensive but assiduous and faithful.
