In the Barcelona district Sant Gervasi - Santaló there is located El Petit Bangkok, an amazing trip to Thailand converted into a restaurant. It serves traditional country food in a beautiful and warm ambience. It was founded by the couple Dani and Saowa, Catalan and Thai respectively.
The menu features dishes that transmits the tastes and smells of the Thai Cuisine. The products are fresh and well prepared. The value is very good.
Dani and Saowa initially placed the restaurant into another spot located in the same area, and later moved to the current one since it is way bigger. It is a very colorful, bright and spacious place with large windows. It has some curious lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is tastefully decorated and has a cozy and homely feel that makes it perfect to go with a couple, friends or even family.
Dishes: Pho Pia Sod (rolls of fresh rice pasta with prawns, vegetables and mint leaves). Tom Kha kai (milk soup with chicken, lime leaves, mushrooms and ginger). Pad thai (rice noodles sautéed with prawns, soy sprouts, eggs and peanuts). Green, red or yellow curry with chicken, veal, duck, prawns, etc.
