At the end of the Enric Granados street near Diagonal avenue, there's Cheri, a Barcelona restaurant with a retro style that serves traditional Catalan food by using market raw materials.
The menu, designed by the chef Ignasi Torra, is based on seasonal products and inspired on traditional Catalan cuisine. Besides all the ingredients used are local. At the weekends they also provide an interesting cocktail menu.
The place was renovated by the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. It has a vintage feel that is somewhat reminiscent of a Catalan tavern or a French bistro. It is a large place with large roof that has a slesophisticated feel of yesteryear. The checkerboard floor, dark furnitures and the windows that make the products visible are just some of the elements that help to create this ambience of the past. It has a terrace on pedestrian street.
Dishes: Andalusian turbot fingers with miso and soy mayonnaise. Calamarcitos beach Andalusian with aioli de ñoras and kimchee. Sirloin carpaccio, arugula and parmesan shavings. Grilled hake with clams Santurce style. Baked kid's back with baking potato.
