Founded in 1876, Can Culleretes is a restaurant that offers Catalan cuisine. It is the oldest one in Barcelona and the second one in Spain due to its two centuries old. It is located in the Gothic Quarter, next to the Liceu Metro station.
The menu includes traditional dishes of Catalan cuisine made with seasonal and good quality products, such as escudella, sausage, lamb or pork back cooked with catalan recipes.
Although the restaurant is very old, the place is perfectly maintained and preserved. The decor is elegant and rustic, and light tones contrast with the dark ones. It is large and is divided into several different areas. They have large paintings, which could be considered antiques, stained glass and wooden beams in the ceiling. It is ideal for all situations, whether groups, family gatherings, business lunches or dinners, meetings with friends or weddings and baptisms.
