In the erly seventies, brothers Emilio and Ángel Buj arrived to Barcelona from their small hometown in the province of Teruel and in 1981 they opened their own restaurant in the Eixample district.
At Buj they offer, since then, impeccable seasonal cuisine prepared with selected fresh ingredients. Their Mediterranean-inspired menu features classics of the house such as breaded onions, tripe with chickpeas, sole stuffed with mushrooms or pickled partridge.
The restaurant welcomes us in a classic setting where clearly the decoration is not he priority.
