In the district of Sant Antoni and very close to the popular market of this area we can find Bouzu, a charming Japanese restaurant of Barcelona where you can eat traditional japanese food. It's ambience is casual so it is ideal to go with friends.
The menu is highlighted by the fact that it doesn't include sushi. Instead you may find udon (noodles), Oriental or Japanese food pizzas made with an iron, among others. Dishes are kinda small but very japanese.
The local was founded in 2009 and the atmosphere is completely Japanese. At the entrance are the traditional oriental lanterns and inside follows the same pattern. The decoration is simple but elegant. It has a sober look and just a few ornaments unlike any other oriental restaurant. It has few tables and a bar where you can watch how the dishes are made.
Dishes: Takowasa (raw octopus marinated in wasabi). Maguro no tataki. Tori Namban (fried chicken with vegetables marinated in soy and vinegar). Tuna tartare. Shiokara (raw squid marinated in salt).
