The Bodega La Tinaja is located in Barcelona's Born area near to the Estació de França station. It is a rustic and charming place to go for a drink.
The menu is based on cold dishes such as cheese or sausage. Like any good wine cellar it serves a wide variety of wines, approximately 90 different types. The value is good.
The restaurant is hidden behind a large gate and further inside it is clearly a traditional wine cellar. The atmosphere is rustic, cozy and reflects truthfully the atmosphere of those places in the past. The rough wooden tables, walls and stone arches, hanging sausages and visible bottles of wine are just some of the classic elements that are not missing. In addition andalusian flamenco guitar concerts (typical of the southern part of Spain) are occasionally performed. Undoubtedly it is a clear return to the past of the typical Iberian Peninsula taverns.
