After eight years based in his Blau de Begur, on the Costa Brava, young chef Marc Roca moved to the Catalan capital in 2007 to bring to the district of L’Eixample his personal reinterpretation of Catalan cuisine.
His restaurant, called Blau Bcn and inspired by the blue waters of the beaches that saw him start his solo career –he had formerly worked with great chefs such as Raimundo González, Carles Gaig, Hilario Arbelaiz or Didier Banyols- is today an perfecto choice for a great dining experience.
Decorated with photos by Colita, the space welcomes us in a sober and quiet setting where the chef presents an excellent seasonal menu prepared with utmost respect for the products.
