Tapas in the authentic Poble Sec of Barcelona has one of its main arteries in the lively and pedestrian Blai Street. The tenant of number 9 has been, since the end of 2014, Blai 9 , a cozy place specializing in quality pintxos and tapas in an original and innovative format.
Instead of the traditional slice of bread, here the pintxos are presented, always with great grace, on a varied base of different small format elements and different gastronomic cultures such as blinis, piadinas, crepes, kebab, rolls, nachos, quesadillas, croquettes, churros... each one is a bite of creativity, and for only €1.90 or €2.50 each.
Small and with an informal atmosphere, the space is dominated by a bar where the pintxos of the day are displayed and is ideal for enjoying, either inside or on the terrace, a good time with friends.
Dishes: Blinis with mini Angus burger, Havarti cheese, mustard and caramelized onion. Chorizo and poached potato crepe with quail egg, chistorra and chives. Black rice, squid and shrimp roll with squid ring and red pepper. Ham and emmental piadina with brie, tomato jam and chopped caramelized almond.
