Born in Barcelona near the Picasso museum and we find El Bar del Pla, a tapas restaurant in an informal atmosphere perfect for a coffee, wine or beer but also for lunch or dinner.

The menu is composed mainly of tapas and half portions but also offers more elaborate dishes to share with a partner, everything at a very nice price and accompanied by good wine and desserts.

The place, which after being refurbished had a makeover, has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Besides tables it has a comfortable bar where you can eat tapas quietly accompanied by continuous background music. It is ideal to drink or eating something at any time of the day.

Dishes: Squid in its ink croquettes. Crispy oxtail with foie. Mussels and tomato. Tuna tartare. Tomato and wild boar. Roast, juice and truffle cannelloni. Veal cheek. Eggs with sausage. Grilled octopus. Grilled Iberian pork slice.

Renovación del concepto tapas de toda la vida. Sitio informal para picar algo en plan rústico, hacer el vermouth o una noche despistada. Todo correcto. El local es coherente con lo que ofrece; también algo estrepitoso. El personal es agradable y eficiente, aunque uno de los camareros nos sirvió un plato con unas uñas turbadoramente sucias, y creo que es un detalle básico y fundamental que deberían cuidar.
