Comment: 

The first Lebanese restaurant in the city opened in 1983 in uptown Barcelona. Years later, after its success, the owner Mahmoud Katib –also known as Miguel- opened his second restaurant, Al Jaima, in L’Eixample.

Abou Khalil offers authentic Lebanese cuisine made with good products through an extensive menu that includes the most typical specialties at affordable prices.

The space welcomes us in a nice setting ideal for groups, who will enjoy belly dancing shows on weekend nights.

Dishes: Hummus (chickpea cream). Bitingan (eggplant cream). Warak enab (stuffed vine leaves). Falafel (vegetable croquettes). Mojarada (lentils with rice and meat). Moussaka. Shish Kebab (skewered lamb). Lamb or chicken shawarma.

Positive: He ido muchas veces, sin duda uno de mis restaurantes favoritos. La comida es excelente, el hummus con carne y el falafel los mejores de toda la ciudad. El trato del dueño es muy amable, te hace sentir como en casa. Para acabar un té y una shisha, me encanta. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

El trato con nosotros desde el principio de la cena fue muy amable. Con respecto a la comida hicimos una degustación de platos tipicos libaneses y nos gustó mucho. Lo recomiendo si quereis pasar una velada tranquila y con suerte si el aforo en el local es grande, se puede presenciar una danza del vientre, que en mi caso me quede sin ella por no haber suficientes personas ese dia.

Positive: No ha sido posible contrastarlo. En el día y la hora de la reserva, solo había dos meses ocupadas entre veinte, contándonos a nosotros.
