Pelotari

Where today is the prestigious Pelotari restaurant, more than 25 years ago was a pediment where the Basque and Navarrese communities played this game, so popular in the north of the peninsula. Today, more than a quarter of a century later, Basque or Navarrese origin families also gather at the same place, to which they have joined those lovers of good eating.

Pelotari presents a traditional cuisine, based on the excellence of the product and the good work of its cooks. Red beef and veal, fish from the most prestigious markets on the north coast or seasonal vegetables provide the dishes of this restaurant.

Pelotari is placed in an open-plan dining room decorated in a traditional style, which it doesn't mean ancient, in which the furniture woods give it an elegant touch. Located half a block from Paseo de Recoletos, near Colón Square and the Archaeological Museum, this is undoubtedly an ideal place for those who appreciate excellent homemade food and a familiar treatment.

Dishes in the set menu: Cod 'brandada', 'piquillo' peppers stuffed with vegetables, Tudela letuce with tuna, beef tenderloin, sirloin with foie, 'ajoarriero' cod, hake in green sauce and kokotxas, stewed mushrooms with poached egg, duck liver with artichokes.
