Matute 12 is a space full of secrets located in Madrid's Barrio de las Letras, run by Mario Álvarez, Marco Martínez and Nacho Fresneda, which offers excellent international cuisine with a mix of Iberian, Arabic, Italian and American flavours. The set menu is informal, but made with seasonal products and taking care of every detail. In addition, Matute 12 has an extensive set menu of cocktails and drinks, perfect to enjoy at night, and has DJ sessions on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The restaurant is located in one of the few modernist buildings in the city and is distributed in a spacious dining room, a bar and, going downstairs, there is "Le carabine", a telephone booth with a secret door that leads to a reserved.
