Comment:

This restaurant is located in the Islamic Cultural Center of Madrid (popularly known as 'the Mosque' of the M30) at the output of the M30 to the Salvador de Madariaga street. There is the Alzahar restaurant.

From their kitchens out the authentic Arabic cuisine in Madrid. In operation for over ten years they have always tried to improve both the quality of the set menu and diligence and convenience of the service. With a menu where we can find all Moroccan traditional recipes and sacrificed to halal meat. They have lunch set menus and weekend buffets.

An impossible most authentic place where instead of chill out music, which can be heard during the meal, is the prayer of the faithful. Its decor is not as flashy, extravagant and does not try to export the concept of 'Arabian Nights.' Just a few pictures of mosques and a wall with horseshoe arches decorate the hotel. By a similar entrance of a Moroccan ryad door leads to the second floor of the mosque.

Dishes on the menu: carrot salad Moroccan style, brewat (pasties puff pastry filled with chicken or cheese), couscous, tagine of beef with prunes, rice Bukhari (basmati rice with tomato, carrot, chicken, condiments), shish Tauk (skewers of chicken breast).

Atmosphere: Exotic, Traditional , Good value for money.
Characteristics: Open on Sunday.
