In the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona we found the restaurant Mirilla created by the french Malvina and the Galician Leila in 2011 to be an intimate and friendly atmosphere where find rich homemade food from the market at a fair price.
Mirilla makes you feel at home, inviting guests to spend long evenings with candles in the dining room or in a small mezzanine. Its walls, full of artworks, the alternative menu of wine and cocktails along with its bohemian ambient makes it a special place.
Their menu is full of dishes with quality ingredients, simple and well made to be served, no doubt, with a big smile on the face of Malvina and Leila.
Dishes: Galician style octopus. Vegetable timbale with goat cheese au gratin, pesto and rocket. Squid and beef meatballs in tomato sauce. Homemade croquettes. Shrimp and octopus risotto with pumpkin. Hake and shrimp ceviche with guacamole and mango. Salmon marinated in citrus and dill, with mascarpone and tramezzino bread. Duck magret with mustard sauce.
