On the ground floor of the luxurious five stars Mercer Hotel Barcelona there is the restaurant run by the chef Xavier Lahuerta, the disciple of the great Jean Luc Figueras. The set menu of Mercer is based on Catalan cuisine that has at the same time a French influence and a cosmopolitan air. It offers different menu options as the Executive (32 €), the Tasting (90 €) or Seasonal (65 € + drinks). The restaurant has two cozy dining-rooms with authentic stone walls that provide a rustic environment. It also has a private room located in the interior of one of the defense towers of the fourth century.
