Jaime Beriestain’s fantastic concept store, located in Barcelona’s Eixample, is considered one of the best decoration stores in Spain. Not content with this, the prestigious Chilean interior designer opened in mid-2014 an exquisite space that connects with the store -although they both have independent entrances- that has already become the new place to be in the city.
Café Jaime Beriestain is simply ideal for any time of the day, from breakfast to after-dinner gin and tonics (on weekends there is even live DJ sessions). The space is very cool and has a bar at the entrance, different tables for 2 or 4 guests, long tables to share and round tables with sofas... it has all been designed to detail to attract the trendiest people in Barcelona.
In the kitchen, chef Pedro Salillas (Mont Bar, Saüc, Neichel) works with the best market products of proximity to offer an honest seasonal menu with contemporary dishes and some recipes recovered from the owner’s family and country. Desserts and cakes, available all day long to have with a cup of tea or coffee, are just a delight.
