Alba Granados reopens its doors in 2016 with more force than ever.
With chef Carlota Claver at the forefront, the third generation of the family that has been in business for more than 20 years, the restaurant is based on the traditional market cuisine, with signature touches and a Mediterranean accent. The menu, simple and without artifice, is made with the freshest proximity produce.
Divided into two well-distributed floors with kitchen in sight, the restaurant is a space of the most cozy, decorated with taste and ideal for couples –there are intimate corners like the balcony– as for groups. On the ground floor is the main dining room and on the first floor, a New York style cocktail bar. It also has a nice terrace on Enric Granados street.
Dishes: Foie micuit terrine with carquinyolis. Salad with arugula, pear, parmesan and dates. Tuna tartare with grilled avocado, seaweed and toasted sesame. Wanton raviolis with pumpkin and blue cheese. Truffled cannelloni with roast chicken, veal and mushrooms. Grilled baby squids with warm aioli and white beans from Santa Pau. Veal cheek with potato parmentier and caramelized apple. Beef T-bone steak.
