Carles Gaig started his carreer in a family restaurant in the neighborhood of Horta in the 70's. Later, with his wife Fina Navarro, opened a gourmet restaurant in the Hotel Cram's location which ended up moving to the center of Barcelona, and fusing with the traditional Fonda Gaig, which eventually changed its name to Gaig.
With a Michelin star since 1993, Carles Gaig combines the traditional cuisine with original vreative dishes of the gastronomic restaurant.
In Gaig, we will be surprised with the quality of their delicious dishes, always made with the best product and with the chef's personal touch.
Dishes: Cannelloni with truffle cream. Macaroni with Parmesan cream and Iberian pork. Roasted scallops and artichokes with Joselito pork neckfat. Dry rice with prawns and squid. Beef steak tartare with Calvados, creamy mustard and pont-neuf potatoes. Pigeon with shallot, carrot and green pistachios.
