Founded in 1964, Alkalde brought to the Salamanca district of Madrid a whole Basque traditional flavour, always respecting the product and trying time with care and each dish.
Today, half a century later, the restaurant's menu recovers traditional recipes to offer excellent date made with respect to the product high Basque cuisine. With a team that is recovered and forgotten traditional dishes that give new life in a menu chosen and yet varied.
The space is divided into two floors, which have two small dining rooms left and right of the bar area, which faces the street, and an open terrace throughout the year.
