The very same year of its 20th anniversary, Aldaba restaurant began in 2014 a new era fostered by the incorporation of the owner's son, Leopoldo Gomez, into the restaurant's direction.
The restaurant that used to be a landmark for business meals, has opened now to a wider public with a completely renovated interior by the designer Isabel López Vilalta.
Gastronomically, the traditional cuisine with touches of creativity by the chef Antonio del Álamo −who also runs restaurants like Zalacaín, Cuenllas, Dominus, El Bodegón...−. He is faithful to some of the classic dishes, the quality that has always characterized the restaurant and the absolute respect for the seasonal product.
Dishes on the menu: mackerel tiradito marinated with citrus and passion fruit juice; rice with black truffle and mushrooms; Galician lobster with tomato tartare, avocado and basil gazpacho; tripe stew with chorizo and morcilla from Asturias; grilled wild turbot with seafood and rouille sauce; steak tartar.
