Pappa Sven is the Swedish gastronomic proposal at the Eixample of Barcelona. It's a restaurant specialized in the austere but tasty cuisine of this northern European country that attracts us with its menu and its decoration.
Each dish is made with love and quality ingredients to make as close as posible each dish to the Swedish tradition. Its purpose is to divulge new flavors and textures that we are not accustomed to, where marinades and stew dishes abound.
The restaurant is ideal both for a meal with friends or for a dinner in couple in a simple, pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
Dishes: Topinambur and baked roots with honey and my rosemary. Glazed beet with gooseberries, goat cheese, walnuts. Classic salmon tart with mustard and apple. Pickled fried herring. Salmon confit with mashed carrots and jengribre, wheat and tomato. Reindeer stew with mushrooms and thyme, mashed potatoes and red cranberries.
