In front of the Tickets restaurant and also located in the PobleSec area in Barcelona, there is Bodega 1900, on of the six projects of the well-known chef Albert Adrià. This is a restaurant with a tavern ambience that wants to bring back the custom of the vermouth.
The menu of this place is informal yet traditional. It is made with high quality products and includes cold meats, cheeses, smoked, cooking coal, preserves, pickles and pickled. All dishes are meant to be consumed along with the vermouth.
The building where it is located was built in 1900. The place itself simulates a tavern similar to the ones that existed on the early twentieth century. It has dark chairs, white marble tables and uniformed personnel. Other elements such as visible sausages or the typical small blackboard to display product prices make this a throwback to old taverns years.
